Sail at Yeadon Tarn...
Members are welcome to come and join our regular and exciting racing community. Most members find that the best way to tune their skills is to compete in one of our race series. Racing isn't just for the experienced, contact our Race Buddy coordinator to find out how you get get into sailing, whatever level you are.
If you just want to sail without racing then you're also welcome, free sailing is available on Saturdays before the racing (subject to safety boat cover) or during our Tuesday sessions. Members can sail at other times however we do have some minor restrictions to allow the other tarn users to enjoy the park.
Most members store their own boats in the park, there is a storage fee but that's it, there's no launch fees or racing fees. Unfortunately we cannot allow boats over 14ft, catamarans, windsurfers and canoes on the tarn as part of the club. Boats must be insured with a minimum £2 million in liability insurance.
Racing takes place on Wednesday evenings, Saturdays, Sundays and Open Meetings, plus we have specific race training sessions for those that need assistance.
