Beginners
Come along to either a Tuesday night training session or an open day and give it a go for free.
All you need to bring is the consent form and a change of clothing. It would also be worth bringing a wind proof coat as in the UK climate it can get cool on the water.
If you are looking for formal course training or boat hire then we would recommend that you contact the Leeds Sailing Centre that shares the tarn and which offers formal instruction.
At a training or open day session you will be given some basic instruction as to how a sailing dinghy works and then taken out on to the water by an experienced club member.
If you enjoy the experience, which is more than likely, your welcome to keep coming along to the training sessions, however, after a couple of weeks we will ask you to join. For more information about membership rates then click here.
