YSC welcomes new members
YSC offers a range of membership types to suit your needs. If you have never sailed before and you're not sure whether sailing is for you, then come along to a Tuesday training session and give it a go.
Club members will be on hand to offer you advice and will be happy to take you out for a sail. Remember to wear something warm and bring a spare change of clothing just in case. For more hints and tips on what to wear the click here.
We won't ask you to join straight away, but we will expect you to do so if you wish to continue sailing with us. Alternatively come along to a race day and find a member of the committee to speak to.

FAQ - Do I have to have my own boat?
We have a number of club boats including Pico's, Toppers, a Heron and an Enterprise. These are available for use during the training sessions. Many club members also helpout by taking people out in their boats and passing on their experience.
